Your first souvenir about art?
My father used to bring me local oriental crafts from his business trips when I was a young boy.I was delighted by the intricate decors and flamboyant colours. These small presents laid the foundation of a deep interaction with culture and art, including all its forms and facets.

A big format oil painting by Paul Insect.

An original work by Mu Pan of his Compendium of Materia MUdica series

Is there a common thread that unites the artworks of your collection?
I curate my collection as I see fit. It’s a lively mix of different time periods, art movements and subjects. One could however say that the common thread is the high recognition value of each artwork/artist.
